Ambulatory Management Solutions (AMS) is hiring a full-time (FT), remote (work from home) revenue cycle team member who enjoys the pace of the revenue cycle, working specifically in medical collections and values teamwork. The position is available immediately. This is an entry-mid-level position.

What will your day-to-day look like? You will be primarily responsible for insurance collections for the anesthesia practices that we serve. Your day-to-day will be comprised of the following:
Appealing denials and underpayments
Requesting reconsideration for secondary provider claims processed out-of-network in error or specific codes processed incorrectly
Responding to requests for additional information, medical records, or other correspondence.
Following up on unpaid or partially paid claims.
What are the requirements to apply and be considered?
1- 2 years experience in medical insurance collections, preferably anesthesia or surgical specialties (This is a Collector I ENTRY LEVEL position)
Comfortable with technology, as we utilize many different software applications and online payer portals daily
Office 365 and Excel experience is a plus
Willing to call payers and escalate calls to more senior representatives when necessary (most of our follow-up work requires phone calls vs. the use of online portals)
This position requires the candidate to be available during CST operating hours. Preferably, 8am ET – 4:30pm CST. AMS will provide the selected candidate with a laptop and necessary IT supplies to ensure they can work securely and remotely from the comfort of their home.
