Our Medical Assistant - Clinical Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and utilize your Medical Assistant skills in multiple specialty areas, including ENT, Allergy & Asthma, and Facial Plastics. Your role as a Clinical Assistant will allow you to serve the community, simplify healthcare, and help to provide creative solutions to ensure a world-class experience. You'll join a creative and passionate team of physicians and clinical staff. This role offers plenty of opportunities to grow your Clinical Assistant skills and expand your healthcare knowledge!
- Performs routine office procedures safely and effectively.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance of the laboratory area and equipment logs.
- Collects updated patient information and charts patient exams in the EMR within the time parameters of the patient appointment.
- Handles patients’ private health information within the guidelines of HIPAA and company privacy practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Assist other healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor medical procedures.
- Provide patient education materials and communicate physician advice/instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Assistant
- Willingness and ability to work and travel between all three clinic locations.
- Valid Driver’s License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of experience as an LPN or Certified Medical Assistant.
- 1+ years of experience managing patient health information within an EMR.
- 1+ year of experience working within specialty care.
