FL-DOH-Division of Disease Control and Health Protection-HCV Rapid Testing-Data Entry Operators - entering data from Hepatitis Risk Assessments forms received by the Viral Hepatitis and Outbreak Response Section
- Job Description and specific skills needed for this position:
1) This employee is responsible for entering data from Hepatitis Risk Assessments forms received by the Viral Hepatitis and Outbreak Response Section.
2) This employee will enter this information into the Surveillance Tools and Reporting System (STARS) system. 3) The incumbent handles protected health information on a need to know basis following Department of Health, HIPPA and Information Security Policy Protocols and Procedures.
4)This employee abides by State/Federal laws governing health information.
5) Completes Timesheets weekly and submit them for approval.
Minimum Skill Requirement: Skill in operating a personal computer
Ability to operate general office equipment
Ability to follow office procedures and practices
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $15.10 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
