Description:
The Village School of Naples continues to grow and is accepting resumes for a Communications Manager. The Village School values inquiry-based, student-centered learning aimed to empower and inspire students to create solutions to challenges faced in an ever-changing world.
Responsibilities:
Administers The Village School (“TVS”) communication systems and processes in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.
Ensures messaging is effectively and consistently conveyed to students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, employers, and other stakeholders.
Ensures TVS’ stance in the marketplace as a leader in the education sector as a forward-thinking, success-driven Christian school.
Serves as the point person for email marketing and communication.
Collects and prioritizes internal communication requests for various forms of promotion and present them in an organized and timely manner.
Helps collect, coordinate, and distribute weekly e-newsletters and other information to internal/external audiences via existing email marketing templates
Offers high-quality customer service to current and potential school families and stakeholders.
Create marketing/public relations collateral, including but not limited to: invitations, signage, special event pieces and more to ensure messaging is in line with Marketing goals.
Manages outside vendors for marketing and communication needs in conjunction with Director.
Creates and executes a plan that regularly places the school in local media. Manage all messaging in the media.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; Masters Degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
