Job Description
Professional Property Management (PPM), Inc., a corporation owning and managing apartment communities in multiple locations in the Greater Des Moines area is looking for a Social Media Coordinator who will be headquartered at our Sun Prairie property in West Des Moines!

Summary of Position
In the Social Media Coordinator Plus role, you will develop, implement, and execute a results-driven social media strategy utilizing online marketing programs and strategies to increase sales and revenue for the Company while creating a positive public image for the organization. You will cross-train in leasing, learning to lease apartments to prospective residents to ensure maximum occupancy and tenant satisfaction. You will also educate residents on existing and new technology on property and act as the main backup for the receptionist.
As the Social Media Coordinator, you will perform the following essential job functions\*:
- Maintain regular and reliable in-person attendance
- Oversee public-facing communication and branding using various on-line platforms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media technology and SEO techniques
- Understand and apply KPI to track the performance of online campaigns
- Compile, analyze, and create reports to measure campaign effectiveness
- Educate residents on using the parcel room & laundry systems and assist with troubleshooting
- Act as the main backup to the receptionist
When assisting Leasing, you will perform the following essential job functions\*:
- Show apartments and complete detailed paperwork with prospective residents
- Complete accurate and timely data entry, filing, and client follow-up
- Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
The qualified applicant will need to able to, with or without accommodation\*:
- function in Canva for Designs, Mailerlite (or similar email marketing tool), Meta Business Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics (or have an understanding of data analytics to help with social medica strategizing)

- routinely climb stairs
Hours of work will be 9:00AM-6:00PM Monday through Friday and 9AM-3PM Saturday as required, with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Requirements
- Valid Iowa driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check – criminal, credit, driving record
- Must have a fully insured, reliable vehicle
Job Type: Full-time
