Here's how a(n) Sr Communications and Content Specialist for our office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
Providing strategic direction and works collaboratively with PCL’s U.S. offices to create and implement communications plans to drive PCL awareness internally and externally, ensuring alignment with national communications objectives.
Leading the research, planning, and execution of mid-size to large internal and external communications initiatives, while ensuring brand integrity.
Creates and manages a national editorial calendar and works with marketing and communications team to write content.
Writing and editing materials, including PCL.com and intranet articles, award submittals, video scripts, executive messages, memos, etc.
Measuring and reporting key performance indicators.
Creating meaningful connections and mentoring communication staff across the U.S. on best practices and technical skills to support timely delivery of strategic communications in all markets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field.
Architecture, Engineering or Construction (AEC) experience preferred.
7-10 years of experience in a corporate or agency setting.
Expert in AP writing style and superb verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing measurable strategic communications programs.
SharePoint intranet publishing a plus.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative and team-focused with the ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
Ability to work independently, managing major projects.
Willingness to travel and work with teams across the U.S. and Canada. Travel may account for approximately 5-10% of the position.

Salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 depending on experience
