The Los Angeles, CA Office is hiring a Business Development Assistant to address the existing and growing market opportunity.
Business Development Assistant, Los Angeles
The Business Development Assistant will support sales activities working from home or office within the Los Angeles area and report directly to the Sales Manager of the Los Angeles/Central
CA/ Territory. Estimated starting date is February/March 2020-23.
Business Development Assistant duties:
- Prospecting potential clients, cold calling, marketing for the purpose of future sales contracts.
- Set sales and marketing appointments for the sales managers
- Identify formal request for proposal and bid opportunities in the designated territory.
- Assist marketing activities including email, newsletters, trade shows, advertising.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations.
- Maintain existing and potential customer database in designated markets.
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities
Compensation Package Competitive compensation is by the hour at $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience.Quarterly bonuses depending upon meeting company sales targets and goals.Qualifications The qualified candidate should have some experience in sales, marketing or business development.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office or similar computer programs for proposal development.Knowledge and experience with construction services is helpful but not necessary.Must be self-motivated, organized, presentable and personable with good communications skills including telephone, written communications, and presentation skills.Must have a vehicle and willing to travel through the territory.Growth Opportunity This is a great opportunity to work in a successful business, in a nice territory with great opportunities to make money and build a career in a growing company.
