The Global Financial Services Cash Management Solutions team is responsible for providing Billing and Collections (B&C) services to various Lockheed Martin business area/unit partners.
This entry level position is primarily responsible for providing successful billing support for the Lockheed Martin RMS and International groups with additional support in other areas as needed. Position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Accurate and timely internal and external customer billing
- Completion of invoice and account reconciliations as
- Independently and identify billing opportunities
- Create, review and approve invoices (including self audit
- Create accounting documents and appropriately transmit
- Assist with collection and cash application activities as
- Review system enhancements and make
Additional responsibilities and special projects will be
assigned as needed to support the organization.
This is a fast paced, challenging position where the
candidate must be a high performer and quick learner. The candidate must be able and willing to support and meet tight deadlines on a continuous basis while staying focused on internal (billing team) and external (Business area/site, FAR, etc.) policies and procedures. Work is cyclical and follows a billing schedule, but also has a dynamic component that requires analytical, customer service, and strong organizational skills. An ability to work
effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse
team environment is expected. The employee will be
expected to master various systems and processes while
providing excellent customer service and maintaining
frequent contact with business partners. The candidate will also be expected to maintain required financial controls and to support audits as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Entry level.
- Effective analytical skills demonstrated through related
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Experience / knowledge of accounting entries and related impacts

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
