What will you do?
As a Proposal Coordinator/Marketing Coordinator at Cushing Terrell, you will be integral in the planning and coordinating, in conjunction with firm Principals and Marketing Managers, to develop proposals and request for qualification responses and creating/updating sales/proposal materials. As a Proposal Coordinator you will represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates. This position also supports the Communication, Marketing, and Sales Teams by tracking, researching, reporting accurate sales information, and providing critical support services in to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing
1+ years of job-related experience
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Team works, CRM, Deltek Vision, and comfort using a variety of communication and business software including, but not limited to, MS Teams, AEC 360/MS Dynamics, Google Analytics, Adobe suite, Outlook, Microsoft Office suite preferable
Understanding of the Architecture and Engineering world
Knowledge of digital and traditional media best practices
Proficiency using a CRM database
Ability to craft, send, and analyze email marketing
Familiarity with asset management software
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels
Ability to work independently, shift focus, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain patience in high-pressure situations
Ability to develop and sustain client relationships
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the initiation, coordination, and production of the proposal response process; go/no go decisions, team member selection assistance, writing/editing/reviewing, distribution of materials, etc.
Coordination of tradeshows and professional events; scheduling, travel arrangement, booth design, collateral, occasional attendance, etc.
Tracking, maintaining and assembly of up-to-date marketing info and collateral (print and digital); project summaries/narratives and costs/statistics, boilerplates/templates, photography, reference letters, qualifications, resume, etc.
Develop materials that demonstrate our expertise and thought leadership (brochures, quals packages, etc.) in collaboration with Marketing/Communications.
Assisting the Social Media Manager with research and assembly of press releases, trade press articles, award entries, and blog posts
Various administrative duties; recording meeting minutes, market research, data entry, archiving, prep/support for project interviews, and general support of marketing outreach
Coordination with Marketing Managers; graphics department for creation of marketing materials and website updates; Social Media Specialist for blog and social site posts; external firms for projects on which Cushing Terrell is teaming and photographers
Deploy writing skills including creative, persuasive, and technical styles in all forums
Implement proactive approaches to assignments, anticipating what will be needed
Work to provide creative control and enforce established standards while offering improvements based on internal client’s raw ideas
Responsibility of Role Level:
Participate in meetings with either internal or external clients to determine project goals
Define and research project requirements, creative briefs, and scopes, and translate them into design, details, or a tangible outcome
Produce engaging solutions from concept to completion
Support senior team members
Ensure proficiency in related technical skills, collaboration, and time management
Embrace new tools, techniques, and methods
Expand growth in soft skills
Collaborate with other colleagues in other disciplines for optimal outcomes
Take an active role in learning and personal development
Develop creative solutions when confronted with a problem or obstacle
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $74,000 and, is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets. Actual pay will be determined based on your years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.\
