Rotational Class 1st Year - IT
The Tech Associate is an intern position that assists with recurring tasks across multiple areas of an organization's overall information technology (IT) infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of IT systems software, hardware and databases, data processing operations, end user technology. This job gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings, delivering presentations, and exploring business-specific tasks to better understand the organization. Over the 10-week summer internship program, this job participates in a robust training and onboarding program followed by an ongoing speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and cohort engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Handles information technology support requests and procedures across the enterprise network in an efficient and timely manner.
Assists with the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications to ensure the smooth running of information technology operations.
Performs clerical duties such as organizing documents, maintaining files, photocopying, and faxing.
Assists in preparing information and research materials, including Powerpoint presentations.
Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.
Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
Attends company functions, including trainings programs, speaker series, lunch-and-learns and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.

The Cyber Security Concentration focuses on a variety of areas including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Business Information Security, Engineering, Architecture Cloud, and Operations.
The Global Cybersecurity team is responsible for keeping pace with the ever-changing threat landscape and handling the identification and remediation of information technology risks. Global Cybersecurity is responsible for effectively detecting, responding to, and mitigating computer security incidents and managing the security technology that safeguards the company's information assets from cybersecurity threats and attacks.
Individuals in this track can look forward to exciting and diverse roles where you can be at the forefront of Threat Intelligence and Detection & Response. You will ensure applications and platforms within the TIAA environment adhere to strict security standards. Your skills would further develop as you focus your talents in providing critical support in Strategy & Security Log Orchestration, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response. You will be a part of a team working with application/platform owners to apply security controls within the respective applications. Other duties include, but are not limited to, managing user access within centralized applications in queue format, educating end users regarding security protocols and properly requesting access.

Base Pay Range: $71,000/yr. - $73,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
