Job Description
Performs general network maintenance tasks and resolves low to intermediate problems immediately. Escalates more complex issues to a higher level of support. Provides technical assistance and answers to users’ questions, assists users by trouble shooting problems with computer hardware or software.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
· Answers support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding technical issues, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
· Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
· Responsible for handling special projects, as assigned by the Director of IS and/or Network Administrator.
· Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes.
· Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
· Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
· Responsible for setting up and supporting Windows laptops, desktops and iPads
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
· 2 years of Active Directory and or IT experience in supporting users
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
· Comfortable with Windows Server 2019, 2022 and Network Cabling
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Experience Managing Windows workstations including Windows 11 and iOS
· Ability to support Apple Devices including iPhones and iPads.
· Ability to support network peripheral devices including network switches, firewalls, APs, and printers.
· Ability to set up and support Microsoft 365.
· Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network-related issues including TCPIP, DNS, and DHCP.
· Experience working with Windows Server and Client Operating Systems
· Experience working with anti-virus / anti-malware applications
· Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
· Advanced Knowledge of Patch Management Systems
· Understanding of networking concepts including but not limited to: NAT, SNMP, SSH, NTP, and SFTP.
· Basic understanding of IT Security Concepts and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
