SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist – Social Media will work with a cross-functional team that is charged with creating best-in-class content, attracting and engaging consumers, and raising brand awareness. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, creativity, strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to function effectively with minimal direction and drive projects to successful, timely completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support the Digital Marketing Director in bringing the brands to life through social media
· Write and publish post content for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok to drive social growth and engagement
· Curate UGC and influencer content that resonates with fans and followers
· Grow and engage social media ambassadors and influencers. Support contracts, influencer campaigns and live streamed events and ambassador training
· Engagement with ambassadors through social management tools, emails, resharing content and meetings when applicable
- Create reports on social media and influencer performance. Identify trends and insights. Make and implement recommendations to optimize performance
- Develop social media campaign ideas and partner with cross-functional teams in execution. Maintenance of social media content calendar
- Coordinate with community management team and graphic design team to support social media initiatives, including requesting graphic design support, community FAQs, and social listening
· Stays current with industry and social media trends, tools, innovations, and best practices
· Be a creative thinker and problem solver with skills in collaboration and idea generation
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Understanding of social media marketing, content development and how to align with business growth
· Understanding of vertical video trends and how to maximize content for viewability
· Expertise with social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and preferably Sprout
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Asana experience a plus
· Writing – ability to write in a provided brand tone and voice. Experience with copywriting a plus
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and adapting with flexibility
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to take direction, while still using creative problem resolution skills
· Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team
· Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with a positive, professional attitude
· Passion to change the outdoor cooking experience and contribute to the company vision
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· 1-4 years of experience in social media marketing
· Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, business, marketing, advertising or other related field
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Hybrid work in office environment (2 days a week in Chamblee, GA office)
· Knowledgeable of office administration principles, practices and techniques
