Job Description
Starting Date: On or after 8/1
Connections Case Management provides case management services through the Medicaid Waiver to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as aged and disabled.
Location: This position requires working remotely from your home office. Connections Office is located on Eastside of Indianapolis and candidate would need to have the ability to travel to the office at least one time monthly.
Job Summary: Provide human resource supports by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects. Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a relevant field of study with one year of direct work experience in human resources administrative assistance
- CPR certification
- current and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a thorough background screen
- Candidate must have a dedicated home office space where Protected Health Information cannot be accessed by others
- Candidate is required to have all furnishings for a home office- internet, phone, computer, and ability to print
- They will need reliable transportation
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with Marketing Director on candidate recruiting and process incoming resumes
- Schedule and complete screening calls for prospective candidates of Connections Case Management, LLC
- Maintain employee records
- Update human resources databases
- Prepare paperwork for human resources policies and procedures
- Process employee requests and provide relevant information
- Provide orientation for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies
- Assist with various data entry needs
- Collecting and distributing mail
- Maintaining office space, obtaining office supplies, and stocking office
- Scheduling conference rooms and meeting venues as needed
- Coordinate with CEO on benefits management for employees
- Complete requests for Verification of Employment
- Complete Workforce Development, wage and garnishment inquiries, EEO-1 and any other formal requests for employee information
- Act as primary contact for agency Worker’s Compensation needs for employees.
- Attend monthly meetings and company meetings
- Support the mission statement and core values of Connections Case Management, LLC.
- Present oneself in a professional manner through personal presentation, tact and diplomacy, composure in stressful situations, punctuality, and respect for others
- Exude a welcoming demeanor that ensures employees feel comfortable and experience a high level of trust
- Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful manner and maintain confidentiality

Skills:
- Knowledge of the Waiver case management professional role and applicable qualities
- Have outstanding proficiency in computer software including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe PDF, OneDrive, TEAMS, file downloads and uploads, print to PDF, file conversions and accessing online resources
- Experience working with information systems/software, preferably human resources related
- Ability to plan, organize, manage time, and work productively in a virtual environment under minimal supervision to provide timely and quality work
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High level of organization

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm EST. Flexible work schedule with the expectation that email, voice mail, and all other contact responses occur no less than within twenty-four (24) business hours of receipt, and that the employee works a minimum of forty (40) hours in a five (5)-day week
Knowledge/Experience: Previous experience as an administrative assistance and/or human resource experience. Prefer experience working with the Medicaid Waivers.
