Job Description
Nemours Children's Health Delaware is seeking Vice-President, Oncology, Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant and Enterprise Special Projects for our location in Wilmington, DE.
Primary Functions:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to serve as a key administrative leader for the Lisa Dean Moseley Institute. This person will work with the Chair of Pediatrics, and provide oversight and execution of The Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation institute and building the portfolio of programmatic expansion, partnership and affiliation activity, commercialization, and other diversified elements. This leader will provide and leverage market intelligence to support decision-making and to inform growth in cancer and blood disorders. In addition to the core function working with the Mosely Institute, this role will work cohesively with members of the Executive Team to drive the organization's growth, innovation, and transformation initiatives for oncology, hematology and special projects.
Essential Functions:
Identify and fund leading-edge cancer research to drive innovative care.
Collaborate with the Chair of Pediatrics to ensure fulfillment of obligations contained within the Moseley Institute agreement.
Build Nemours to the country's top pediatric cancer and blood disorder program.
Provide and leverage market intelligence to support decision-making and to inform growth in cancer and blood disorders.
Manage special projects including the launch and management of additional Program Institutes.
Facilitate an integrated system, including design, development, and tracking of the enterprise strategic agenda.
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
Non-Essential Functions:
Maintain close working relationships with clinical, administrative, and functional leaders, as well as the medical staff and research faculty.
Excel in facilitating communication amongst various stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree required.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in healthcare administration and cancer/blood disorders
