Job Description
We seek a recruiting professional to join our team transforming the talent acquisition model at the College of Southern Idaho. This position provides comprehensive recruitment services, consultation, and strategic insights to hiring managers in all departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage assigned requisitions and provide support to hiring managers and search committees by driving the recruitment process
Work with hiring managers to identify markets to proactively source passive candidates
Proactively recruits both active and passive candidates using traditional methods and creating sourcing methods including job boards, resume databases, social media, and other cold calling sources
Develop effective job postings and facilitate an inclusive positive recruitment experience for candidates from initial screening to job offer and onboarding
Build community and brand awareness by representing the college at conferences or career fairs
Contribute to equity and inclusion by fostering a climate of multicultural appreciation and awareness
Provide thoughtful consultation and guidance on modern talent acquisition practices
Assist in employee retention and development and campus initiatives
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in human resources, preferably talent acquisition and full life cycle recruitment experience
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools, and databases
Current working knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws relating to employment
Understanding of employment classification, and compensation analysis and planning
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
Work with and maintain the security of highly confidential data
EDUCATION / TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS
Work schedule is primarily during regular business hours maintained by College of Southern Idaho. However, this position may require occasional varied shifts dependent on needs of the department. Occasional local and out of state travel may be required.
