Job Description

We are seeking a full time Social Media Specialist to work with our marketing team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in monitoring various social media channels as well as curate content pieces. You will keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and propose new ideas to improve our social media strategy.
About You
You have at least 1 year experience in social media.
You’re great at written and verbal communication. You have a familiarity with social media platforms with an emphasis on social media copywriting.
You’re a pro at photography, videography, and editing skills. And you have a basic knowledge of graphic design, and proficiency with image and video editing softwares.
You’re analytical, methodical, and work with a high degree of accuracy. You are detail-oriented and care about the nitty gritty.
You're a team player. You have an open mind to learn from others on your team and you are confident sharing your ideas with all levels of the organization. You realize working and collaborating with others creates better outcomes for you, your team and our company.
You are flexible. You are willing to practice adaptability in our fast-moving, high-growth environment. You understand change is a part of daily work and you’re comfortable keeping a fast-pace, working in some ambiguity and striving to get clarity through excellent communication.
Things You Might Do
In your day-to-day work, here are some things you’ll be doing:
Assist in monitoring various social media channels and responding to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Help maintain the direct message inboxes of various social media channels
Assist with the curation of content pieces
Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and propose new ideas to improve our social media strategy
Have a strong understanding of the tone and voice of company accounts
Perform other related duties as assigned

The target compensation range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000, based on qualifications and experience.
