L.L.Bean is currently searching for an Associate Content Planner to join the eCommerce Marketing team located in Freeport, Maine.
Position Purpose: In this important role this person will support the development and execution of L.L.Bean’s content marketing efforts, including messaging and exposure planning, to drive business goals, meet customer needs, and realize the full potential of the brand. Assists in the development of plans and briefs to support key initiatives and meet the ongoing needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Support the planning of seasonal content efforts to drive business objectives and/or key customer actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, as well as other members of the content team, to assist in gathering requirements for informing content strategies and plans.
Support the creation of content strategy briefs and kick off content efforts with Creative teams.
Leverage insights to build plans, inform the development of new content, and optimize existing content.
Support the content team in documentation, management of strategic frameworks, and general project management support for the team.

Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects
Highly organized and pro-active in finding (sometimes creative) solutions to issues
Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and diplomatically to a wide range of audiences.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing business environment
A positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and able to get quickly up to speed with business intelligence platforms (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics)
