Summary: The purpose of this classification is to manage airport marketing activities, overseeing marketing programs, public relations, and communication programs for the Glynn County Airport Commission Property and Marketing Department.
Essential Job Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Responsible for professional and administrative work managing and coordinating multiple aspects of Airports' marketing, advertising, public relations, media relations, and communications programs.
Drives the development and awareness of airport branding by ensuring consistent brand image across all customer touchpoints.
Manage Terminal Advertising Program at the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport to include inventory, substructure, digital software, and facilitating all advertising. Create new opportunities for terminal advertising. Maintain records for terminal advertising for the county airports.
Manage the airport's content, design, and maintenance of the website and manage content placement for Airport's social media, i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
Manage the marketing program for both airports. Responsible for various deadlines related to advertisements, publications, contracts etc.
Responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing for the future industry at our airports. Coordinates efforts with our local Development Authority for ads, exhibits, conferences, meetings, etc.
Works closely with the airport property and marketing department, airport stakeholders, staff, and others to coordinate marketing efforts to ensure that air service objectives are met, and airport facilities are reflective of a superior customer services environment. Serves as administrative and creative support for marketing current and potential airline service.
Responsible for the creation, development, and preparation of press releases, brochures, memoranda, letters, reports, presentations, the airport's newsletter, and other internal or external communications.
Manages and directs the sales and placement of advertising, informational displays, signage and public art in the airport terminal and other airport properties.
Researches and prepares annual marketing budget for the airports.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws/regulations; airport industry regulations, etc.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field or a combination of High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years of experience in a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job may qualify. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. Marketing Experience preferred.
Salary Requirements: $63,128.00 per annum - may increase based on qualifications and experience.
