Due to our continued success, we are seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant in the Cambridge, Ohio facility.
SUMMARY & SCOPE: The Staff Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and maintenance of financial and operational records and reports, inventory processing, and developing and coordinating best-in-class processes for transactional functions.
Job Responsibilities:
Job Order Entry – includes entering new jobs by reviewing the details of the order to ensure everything is entered into the accounting software accurately, and processing change orders as needed.
Estimate Entry – includes entering the estimates accurately and timely for each new job into the accounting software.
Job Specific Purchase Orders – working with the Project Managers to enter purchase orders for galvanizing, paint and freight and processing change orders as needed.
MRO Purchase Order Entry - working with Shop Management to enter purchase orders for supplies, repair parts, etc. as needed.
Inventory Processing - timely entry of data transactions, audits of material, and cycle counts.
Works closely with other finance team members and assists with processing and effective management of other transactional activities as needed.
Works with and supports other departments including, but not limited to Procurement, Operations, Project Management to assist on completion of daily tasks or projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of related experience
Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments
Work with accuracy and strong attention to detail
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office Programs
