Technical Support Specialist

For over 35 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. We are seeking entry level Technical Support Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and residents. To be successful as a Technical Support Specialist, you should have a basic understanding of computers, hardware components and software issues. Top candidates will also have good interpersonal skills, with an affinity for excellent customer service.
Job Specific Duties:
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of workstations
Install, configure and provide support for desktop software
Setup and support cell phones and tablets
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues
Setup AV equipment for meetings and presentations
Record and edit videos
Install and configure printers, copiers, faxes and scanners
Job Specific Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous technical support experience
Experience with Windows & Mac operating systems
Ability to support/troubleshoot MS office applications
Experience with Apple and Android cell phones and tablets
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates degree
Technical Certifications
