Job Description
Suite 100 Restaurant is seeking a hard working, mature, reliable and friendly lead host / support staff manager to join our management team. We provide exceptional service to our guests and this requires hard work, a genuine smile, and a little "give a poop" factor from you. Additionally, organization, multitasking skills and the ability to think 5 steps ahead doesn't hurt. We are a high volume establishment, so you must be able to work in a fast paced environment and follow restaurant procedures in a professional and efficient manner. Work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday 3:00pm-10:00/10:30pm.
Primary duties:
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push or otherwise move heavy objects
- Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- Approach all encounters with guests and co-workers in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented fashion.
- Answer phones in a professional, friendly manner.
- Schedule reservations.
- Set floor plan and assign stations to servers.
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectation.
- Direct support staff (hosts and bussers) in their duties and check quality of work
- Train new hosts and bussers
- Handle to-go orders and arrange special guest requests
- Create positive impressions by promptly and warmly welcoming guests with a smile.
- Courteously escort guests to their seat and provide menus.
- Say “Good bye” and “Thank you” to every guests as they leave.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Be groomed and professionally dressed for each shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
