JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an outstanding, career-minded professional to fill the role of Certified Public Account, prepare tax returns, and work towards developing strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
The ideal Candidate should have a degree in accounting and the desire to become a CPA. This is a great opportunity for a new professional with little or no experience to join our firm. Responsibilities will include tax preparation, tax planning for individual and business clients, adjusting trial balances, and preparation of financial statements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Work closely with multiple Shareholders to ensure accurate and timely preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
· Adjust trial balances for tax preparation
· Tax planning for entities and individuals
· Assist with special projects for Shareholders as needed
· Respond to tax notices from Federal, State, or local municipalities
· Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our clients

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Bachelors Degree in accounting required
· Desire to become a CPA
· High degree of integrity, ethics, diplomacy, and confidentiality
· Career focused with an outstanding work ethic
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
· Commitment to provide unique white glove service to our clients
· Outstanding reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and function efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Ability to use critical thinking to resolve complex problems with creative solutions
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong multi-tasking skills and a demonstrated history of meeting milestones
· Basic understanding of accountant principals and tax rules
· Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Experience in preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns is a plus
· QuickBooks, Lacerte and CCH Engagement experience is a plus

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
