Job Description
With offices in Boise, Nampa and Caldwell, Ripley Doorn & Co, PLLC is seeking an eligible candidate to fill a Tax Associate position in one of our three offices.
For over 80 years Ripley Doorn & Co. has been serving the Treasure Valley! Over the years we have developed personal & lasting relationships with clients who rely on us for more than just tax and accounting services. As a staff member, you will join a team of proactive, service oriented professionals and have the opportunity to work on a rich variety of projects and industries primarily involving tax, accounting and consulting work, with possible auditing exposure. Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporate, partnership, individual and trust tax returns
- Review and prepare financial statements for reviews and compilations
- Provide timely and high-quality services exceeding client expectations
- Work with staff and principals to provide client solutions to tax and related issues
- Possible assistance with audit engagements
Job Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work and communicate professionally with other staff and superiors
- Ability to consider a client’s individual situation and recognize opportunities and problems
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting, including GAAP
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset
- Creativity and resourcefulness

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA eligibility is preferred
- No accounting experience is required, but 1+ years public accounting experience is ideal
