This is a remote role, and is open to candidates based in the state(s) of California, Pennsylvania, New York, Utah, Florida, or Colorado, and must have the right to work within the United States.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Manager / Education Director to help spearhead Darkroom's newest digital marketing educational platform - Darkroom University.
What you’ll do:
The Community Manager will be the go-to person for our ‘Darkroom University’ initiative which has internal and external functions. Internally, the University is the center of all team training throughput. Externally, the University is a community that users pay annually for to have access.
Manage the Darkroom University Online Community Platform
Upload, edit, and publish new course content
Provide customer support to community members
Broadcast updates to community
Monitor community metrics and report back to executive leadership
Lead the marketing of Darkroom University
Create strategies for promoting new course material
Assist in creating ads and landing pages to acquire new community customers
Ensure course material is being disseminated and completed by the internal Darkroom team in collaboration with our management team
Lead the launch a Darkroom University annual (in-person) event

Background and/or fundamental understanding of Digital Marketing
Excellent project management skills
Exhibits natural “host” tendencies — this person will be one of the main faces of our online community
Familiarity with the following tools: Notion, Circle, & Framer
Strong customer support experience

Compensation Range: $55K - $60K
