Position Summary:
The Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing is within the North American Marketing Commercialization Team and has full ownership for the planning and execution of Shopper Marketing plans for WALMART across all SC JOHNSON brands, including Glade, Ziploc, Scrubbing Bubbles, Windex, OFF!, and Raid. In this role, the Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing will build shopper marketing plans that effectively and efficiently drive shopper awareness and conversion of our product portfolio while also achieving the objectives of our customer. He/she will work very closely with the customer, their retail media agency, and field sales teams to understand, develop and execute the plans needed to achieve favorable business results, improve ROI, while also creating a memorable interaction with our brands and consumers. This candidate reports to the Director of North America Omni-Shopper Marketing. This position is located in Rogers, Arkansas, and will require you to be full-time on-site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the execution of annual Omni-shopper marketing strategy and plans for WALMART rooted in consumer, shopper and channel insights while ensuring they are aligned to SCJ brands/ Category strategies as well as support the overall customer growth
Create, or customize programs that help our customers drive traffic, loyalty, and conversion. Leveraging the Company’s marketing properties against key brand initiatives to drive excitement with customers leading to incremental growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish specific channel objectives. Team members include Sales Leads, Customer Marketing lead, Agency partners, Brand team and E-com team
Transform insights into added value by creating solutions that convert shoppers into buyers
Lead creative brief development for all programs for accounts under his/ her responsibility annually. Clearly articulate communication objectives of brand and customer in order to inform and direct agency work
Manage customer specific shopper budget, all programs must be executed on budget and on time
Responsible for oversight of shopper marketing analysis by tracking agreed upon KPI’s to optimize ROI of shopper plans annually and utilize post program analytics to improve programs and tactics
Develop and leverage relationships with retail media networks, Account marketing teams and sales teams across the account to help foster strong collaboration and business opportunities
Collaborate with account sales team to gain deep understanding of key business priorities to achieve growth at key accounts
Responsible for day to day managing retail media agency relationship to ensure programs execution and achieve performance standards
Manage relationships with external vendors to execute flawless shopper programs and to stay well-versed in shopper program innovation
Complete additional tasks as assigned by immediate manager
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
4+ years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field OR 3+ years of work experience if candidate possesses their Master’s degree or military experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
Must be authorized to work within the US
