JOB DECRIPTION
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Center for Children & Families is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to execute strategic marketing initiatives, drive brand awareness, and enhance the organization's communication efforts. As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a crucial part in implementing marketing strategies, managing brand communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across various channels. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop integrated marketing campaigns, create compelling content, manage digital platforms, and oversee public relations activities. You will serve as the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity and excellence across the organization. You will leverage your talents to shape The Center's outward image for the purpose of boosting community awareness and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker, possessing strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of marketing principles and emerging trends. This position is hired by and reports to the PR & Marketing Director.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPENTICIES:
The Marketing & Communications Manager should possess the following:
5+ years' experience in graphic design, business, journalism, marketing, communications, public relations, and/or non-profit leadership (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in related field of study (Graphic Design, Marketing, Non-Profit Leadership, Public Relations, Communications, etc.).
Key skills & knowledge required include creative thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, public speaking skills, analytical thinking, forecasting, and planning, ability to run multiple projects at once, strong organizational skills, delegation, excellence-minded, collaboration, problem-solving, project management, comfort with emerging uses of technology, and ability to report outcomes. Canva and Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Marketing Strategy
Assist Director with implementing year-round comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our organization, programs, and services.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies and operations with business goals and needs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
Marketing Communications
Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
Create compelling content for marketing materials, websites, social media, email campaigns, and press releases.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and communication strategies.
Works with vendors: including public relations, promotional companies, printers, and graphic designers.
Brand Management
Maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
Manage the organization's reputation and public image, ensuring a positive and consistent brand perception.
Digital Marketing
Manage the organization's online presence, including social media channels, website content, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, generate leads, and increase brand awareness.
Monitor & analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Public Relations
Develop and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
Coordinate media interviews and events.
Attend community events to represent the agency and promote its programs.
Collaboration and Synergy:
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work culture, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and agencies to execute creative projects effectively and efficiently.
Act as a creative resource and provide guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of the marketing department and company.
Annual Salary Range: $42,000 - $48,000 plus competitive benefits.
