Description
Responsible for leading the Government Business Division First 90 Days Marketing team in directing the development, execution, and use of timely, actionable market and customer information to grow the business, transform the customer experience, retain profitable membership, and enhance the company’s reputation.
Location : This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
How You Will Make An Impact:
Acts as a partner in the Medicaid and Medicare business planning process at the business unit and enterprise level.
Leverages customer and market information to proactively identify and assess new business opportunities to create customer value and profitably grow the business during the 1st 90 days of a members plan year.
Manages complex, high-priority business questions/issues, and identifies/creates customer and market insights that can drive solutions.
Delivers strategies and recommends plans that connect overall corporate growth and business objectives with marketing/product/distribution strategies and programs.
Leads cross-functional efforts in developing marketing strategies and plans for welcome and onboarding initiatives.
Performs industry and competitive analysis, market sizing, and segmentation analysis, customer value proposition analysis, and customer experience analysis.
Identifies strategic priorities, collaborates with business partners to execute the strategic plan, and evaluates performance to measure results.
Develops and implements metrics to report and monitor progress against goals.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Travels to worksite and other locations, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications or Skills
Master’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred.
Cross-industry experience in both consumer-focused industries such as pharmaceuticals or packaged goods, and health insurance or health-related industries preferred.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment preferred.
Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills, preferred.
