Job Description
UF College of Education is currently seeking an entry level part-time OPS Desktop Support Assistant. Will assist COE Technology Support Services staff in providing accurate, timely, and to end user computing and networking problems of a basic nature to ensure end user productivity.
Key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
Understanding of various current OS environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, G suite, Dropbox and other software used across campus
Excellent customer service
Assists end users with getting set up on supported equipment and software
Assists with inventory
Familiarizing end-users with how to use equipment and software
Assists end users with resolving software issues pertaining to supported software
Installs and moves computers, printers, and other end user technology devices.
Troubleshoots and resolves entry-level problems and provides entry-level maintenance for computers, printers, and other end user technology devices
Expected Salary:
$15- $17 hourly
Minimum Requirements:
Works well with the public, capable of working independently, punctual, and reliable. Associate's degree; or a high school diploma and 2 years’ experience.

End user technical support procedures
Problem solving skills and reliability
Knowledge of Apple Mac OS
Android/iPhone knowledge
Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange Cloud, and Windows 10
Adobe Creative Cloud suite
Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO) comprehension
PowerShell
Mobile devices and Tablets
Able to lift 30 lbs.
