Staff Accountant - Entry Level
Alten Sakai & Co. is a public accounting firm in Beaverton, Oregon. For 70 years, we have provided our clients with valuable service including accounting, tax preparation, and consulting to businesses and individuals.

We have an entry level position available for staff accountant. This is a great opportunity to learn public accounting and take the first step in build a career.
As an entry level staff accountant, you will learn the accounting function; coding transactions to accounting software, reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements. You will prepare business and individual tax returns and learn to put together the pieces of this complex puzzle.
Staff position and qualifications
We are interested in hiring an individual with good accounting and problem-solving skills, and has the ability to work well with others.
The following skills will help a candidate succeed: Excellent with numbers, ability to interpret financial documents, good reasoning ability, comfortable learning tax law, good computer skills, and able to manage a large work load.
