Job Description
Agile Decision Sciences (ADS,) a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Information Specialist 5 (IS 5) to support our nationwide contract to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with records and information management services. ADS staff are an integral part of the management of EPA's information in support of the Agency's critical mission.
The IS 5 will implement a records management program in accordance with the guidance provided by EPA's National Records Management Program and ensuring the delivery of high quality contract required services and products. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of the task order, serving as the main point of contact with the government client and individual customers, and ensuring that excellent customer service is provided. In this role, the IS 5 will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project including both personnel and project requirements. Responsibilities also include managing the financial and contractual obligations of this ADS EPA Task Order.
Specific tasks include preparing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures, manuals, and records guidance; prepare and deliver training presentations on Records Management (RM) basics and other RM-related topics; become proficient with the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) and participate in testing ECMS; monitor Record Schedule changes and their impact on File Plans and the web site; ensure all aspects of the Records Life-Cycle are identified in the File Plan; monitor the storage and disposition of paper records; provide for services to complete scanning of agency paper records into digital format and, participate in EPA efforts to develop and implement strategies to implement electronic records tracking systems.

Basic Qualifications:
- MS degree in Library/Information Science, Information Management, Computer Science or similar, with four (4) years of experience in program development and maintenance in off-the-shelf customization, new development, database management and/or records management software such as dBase V, InMagic, Advance Revelation, Documentum, Adobe Acrobat, FoxPro, Access, Excel, Versatile, Trim, Provenance, HTML Editor, ZyImage
- Bachelor’s degree in information management/computer science, with seven (7) years of experience in the use of the types of software (similar) listed above
- Experience with the Internet/Intranet and web site management
- Experience with information technology as it relates to records, data centers, and digitization
- Experience with MS Office, including Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously with a diverse group of customers
US Citizenship to meet eligibility requirements to pass a government sponsored background investigation required.
