Job Description: Accounts Receivable Associate
Position: Accounts Receivable Associate

Job Summary: LHH is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate for a contract position in Arlington, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Invoice Generation and Processing: Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on sales orders, contracts, or service agreements. Ensure all necessary supporting documentation is included and verify billing information for accuracy.
Accounts Receivable Tracking: Monitor and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring all payments are recorded correctly and matched to the corresponding invoices. Update customer account information as needed.
Payment Collections: Initiate collections calls or emails to customers with overdue balances. Follow up on past due accounts and work towards timely resolution of outstanding payments.
Reconciliation: Reconcile discrepancies between customer payments and outstanding invoices. Investigate and resolve any billing disputes or issues in a professional and efficient manner.
Cash Application: Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts, ensuring payments are posted to the correct invoices.
Aging Reports: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports regularly. Identify and report on delinquent accounts, proactively flagging potential collection issues.
Customer Communication: Interact with customers professionally and courteously regarding billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and payment arrangements.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of all accounts receivable activities. Generate regular reports and updates on accounts receivable status for management review.
Process Improvements: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance accounts receivable processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination of financial information.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework will also be considered.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting software is desirable.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with customers and team members.
Analytical Skills: Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Time Management: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ethical Conduct: Maintain the confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical accounting practices.
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
