Summary:
Bamboo Health is seeking a Staff Accountant, to work alongside our revenue accountant and accounts receivable team. This critical role will be responsible for handling the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of customer transactions, and optimizing cash flow management. An ideal candidate will be an accountant that is adaptable when working in a fast-paced and rapidly-evolving environment, organized and detail-oriented, interested in learning and finding ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting team, and adept at working both independently and collaboratively.
What You’ll Do:
- Generate and distribute customer invoices in accordance with established billing schedules, contractual agreements.
- Verify the accuracy of billing and revenue recognition information, pricing, and terms before issuing invoices.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address any invoicing inquiries or discrepancies.
- Assist in recording and reviewing customer payments, both electronic and check payments, accurately in the accounting system.
- Collaborate with the collections team to resolve outstanding payment issues and establish payment plans when necessary.
- Assist Revenue Accountant and AR Manager with month- and year-end close responsibilities, including assisting with the annual external audit
- Help develop processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and enhance financial controls
- Other accounting-related value-add responsibilities as assigned

- Deeply involved in the close process and comfortable operating in NetSuite
- Identifying inefficiencies in our processes and recommending changes
- Actively searching and acting on areas of improvement and opportunities to mitigate financial risks
- You are a critical member of the overall Finance team, with the capacity to take on more responsibilities as you and the company grows
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience with basic understanding of US GAAP. Recent graduates with B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance and relevant intern experience are welcome to apply
- Experience in accounts receivable and order to cash
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Experience working a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environments
